Metal Roofing Maintenance System

How often should you inspect your roof?

Ideally, you need to check the screws twice a year. You need to check the fasteners for any movement of the screws or sealant clamps, as movement can easily squeeze the screws out of the holes. If you have screws protruding from the roof slab or washers then you will need to retighten them. Check your attic twice a year for leaks and make sure the sealant hasn't gone away. Additionally, your roof should also be inspected after every major storm or extreme weather.
